Paradise Found - Page 44

“Give it to me, Elle. Show me how easily I make you come.”

And like a match to a tinderbox with one expert flick, he sets me off, and I clench down against his dick as his hand pushes me higher. I scream my release, and thankfully, the rooms are soundproof. Otherwise, we would have a group of eager watchers standing by our window wondering what kind of magic is happening in room twenty-four.

Grunts, groans, moans, and curses fall from his lips while he too chases his own entry into oblivion. His thrusts turn hurried as he fucks me close to his end until he can’t hold it any longer and crashes over the edge, joining me in a sweaty mess on the bed.

“Fuck!” He chuckles as he pulls me into his arms.

“I know,” I say, nestling into his chest.

We are both still dressed, and that makes what we did feel hotter as if we were so desperate to fuck each other we didn’t have time to undress.

“How have I stayed away from you for so long?” he mumbles, running his fingers through my hair as my hand raises and rests on his chest, his heart beating wildly underneath my fingertips.

“I’m sure you’ve been busy,” I say.

Silence falls between us before he speaks again, “With work not with anything else,” he adds. He doesn’t owe me an explanation, but he does let out a heavy sigh. “I was on a date earlier tonight, the first since my breakup,” he confesses, and acid burns in my stomach at the thought of him dating someone else.

“Guessing it didn’t go so well if you ended up here?”

“Hey,” he says, lifting my chin to look at him. “You arenotthe consolation prize. My friend set me up with a gold digger. And that’s not my thing,” he says fiercely. “I went on the date because I was trying to stop thinking aboutyou.”

Those damn butterflies are back.

His hand cups my face. “I understand that all we have is what happens behind these walls …” he trails off, his thumb running over my lip.

“It’s the way it has to be,” I tell him.

“I know.” He smiles sadly, and damn him for making me question my stance on not crossingthat line.

Be strong, Eloise. You can do it.

The problem is those hazel eyes are making my insides gooey.

“Did you know you can order food and drinks? Maybe next time we could have a date in here.” And as soon as I say the words, I want to shove them right back into my mouth. “Or not, we don’t have to do anything,” I add quickly, which makes him laugh.

“Fuck it! Let’s have a date right now,” he says excitedly.

“Now?”

“Yes, now.” He grins, and it makes my insides tingle.

“Okay,” I say, shrugging my shoulders. Because why can’t I have a date with the guy I like in the middle of a sex club?

“Go draw a bath, and I’ll organize everything,” he tells me, shoving me off the bed and into the bathroom.

“Okay, Mr. Bossy.” I chuckle as I let him lead me into the bathroom.

“I’m going to date the hell out of you tonight.” He grins before kissing me again.

“I’m sure you will, Mr. King,” I reply while giving him a wink. Except those words have formed a frown on his face. What did I say wrong?

“It’s either Alistair or Ali.NotMr. King,” he warns me.

I open my mouth to argue, but he places a finger against my lips.

“Please, let me have this,” he asks gently, and I nod. “Thank you,” he says, kissing me slowly again. “Now go. I have shit to do.”

Fine! I roll my eyes, close the door behind me, and run myself a large bath, then turn on the jacuzzi jets. I never get to overindulge in the spa baths unless it’s part of what the guest wants. So, taking the time for myself in the spa feels like a naughty luxury. I must doze off because a little while later, Alistair is nudging me awake.
