“Well, they are good, but they’re Gargoyles, and Tamian is one of them.Since we’re mated now, you’ll meet Lucy and Tamian eventually.The Goyles are this huge Clan of shifters.They aren’t the stone creatures you see attached to buildings, although I heard that those were a calling card of sorts.To let others of their kind know they were in Goyle territory.That Clan has been through some shit, let me tell you.Crazy uncles.Kidnappings.Bombs.For centuries, they went without mates because they didn’t know they could bond with humans.The females of their kind were almost extinct, and they’d given up hope.Anyway, that’s a story for another day.What about you?I know you’ve not left your house for a long time, so what did you do to occupy your time?”
“I read.A lot.I stream movies, and spend time with Dad.”Quinn turned in her seat so she was facing Kyllian.“How’s this going to work?Am I moving in with you?I love my dad with everything I am, but I can’t see us living with him and having all the sex we’re going to have.”
“All the sex, huh?”Kyllian grinned, and Quinn smiled back.
“Yes.All the sex.I mean, look at you.Do you honestly think I’ll be able to keep my hands to myself?That’s a big fat nope in case you were wondering.”
“I would love for you to move in with me.My house is nice, but it’s nothing like yours.If you like, we can find a new place that’s just ours.But I have to ask, will Trenton be okay on his own?Not that he isn’t capable, but he’s had you there twenty-four seven for a lot of years.”

“I don’t see why not.She’s going to want to get to know you, plus she’ll have all the Lazlos wanting time with her as well.But then so will your dad.Maybe Nikita will be the impetus in getting Trenton out of the house more.She has two more months until she graduates.We should figure out what that’s going to look like.I want to be there when she walks across the stage.Our girl is something else.I cannot wait for you to meet her.You’re gonna love her.”

“If there are others, they’re probably like the rest of us and keep the knowledge quiet.Can you imagine if humans found out there were shifters in the world?It would be chaos.”
