Admit It (Sinclair 2) - Page 43

Dex hated being used, and he couldn’t help but feel like that was exactly what Cayla was doing. He was doing the giving and rarely received anything in return. Hell, sometimes a simple “thank you” would suffice. Dex refused to compare her to the last woman who had left him alone and confused.

Dex irritation rose as he took a drive down memory lane.

Iris appeared to be such a sweet woman. They’d met in Costa Rica while she was vacationing with friends. He was immediately drawn to how her black hair contrasted with her big blue eyes. She appeared to be demure and innocent; she would blush when he looked at her.

He’d rearranged his whole schedule just to see her. She was witty and intelligent. They could talk about any and everything with ease. Dex was getting excited about the possibilities thinking she could be the one. After spending a few days together things escalated physically. She’d begged him to make love to her, and he ensured he’d given her as many orgasms possible in one night.

When he found her the next day, she was wearing a ring that he’d never seen before and was attached to a man he’d never met. She’d found him later that night to tell him that she belonged to her fiancé and he was nothing but a good time. Her fiancé was the only man she’d ever fucked, and she needed to know what it was like to have someone else before she committed herself for life.

When he

’d pointed out that he was a person with feelings, she laughed and told him he was a rich playboy who was only good for a one-night stand. Not husband material. Dex wanted to argue with her. He wanted to show her how wrong she was about him, but he’d realized it was pointless. He didn’t owe her anything. Plus, based on the way she screamed his name the night before, she would be forever disappointed by her husband.

Dex shook away the memory. He needed to set boundaries and expectations for Cayla. He pulled out a pen and notepad to jot down his rules for moving forward with Cayla, but someone knocked on the door before he could pen his first thought.

He growled out his frustration and swore under his breath. Dex vowed to fire Daniella if she was on the other side of his door.

“Come in,” he bit out. He should have stayed home. He’d told the staff he had paperwork and didn’t want to be bothered for at least an hour. He started to write; he heard the door open but didn’t look up from his paper. Dex needed to figure out this Cayla thing.

“What?” he grumbled to the intruder, not bothering to look up.

Dex stared at the paper, and item number one read “Love me.” He grimaced and balled it up. Where the fuck did that come from? He started to write again when he saw pink stilettos in his peripheral view. Can’t be…

His eyes wandered up her bare ankles, shins, knees, and most of her thigh before it clashed with the white hem of a short but flowing dress. There were buttons in the middle that traveled the way up to her cleavage. Her soft hair flowed freely around her shoulders, and her makeup was a little more sultry than usual. His groin instantly tightened in his pants, but his irritation also rose. He hated how she could show up after being an ass, and he’d be quick to forgive before she even spoke.

“What do you want, Cayla?” He clenched his jaw when her eyes said him.

“To talk to you. To apologize for the way I left.”

“I’m working.,” Dex lied. He had to find a way to stay mad.

“I got you something.” He noticed the package in her hands for the first time.

“Look, you can’t just show up with fruit every time…”

“It’s not fruit,” she interrupted. She placed the package on his desk and reached for his hand. “Stand up.”

“Why?” Her scent was weakening his resolve.

“Dex. Let me apologize, and I’ll be out of your hair. You won’t have to see me unless you want to see me. Deal?”

Dex sighed and stood up. He eyed her with his hands on his hips.

“Close your eyes.”

“Cayla...” Dex huffed.

“Dex. Just do it.” He sighed again before cooperating. “Good. Don’t move.”

Dex tensed when she grabbed his belt. “Trust me,” she whispered.

Dex zoned out and started thinking about a recipe he wanted to perfect to allow her time to get to the point of her visit without him snapping. He was three seconds before mixing the dry ingredients together with the wet ones when he felt cool air on his cock.

Dex ripped his eyes open to find Cayla kneeling on a pillow, her dress unbuttoned to display her naked breasts, and her mouth zeroing in on his cock.

“Wha- Ohhh.” Too late. She’d slid him inside her warm mouth. “Mmm,” he moaned when she started to slide her mouth and hand up and down his shaft.

Dex’s resolve was murdered. Cayla looked up at him with big innocent hazel eyes while she performed the naughtiest thing she’d ever done to him. The combination was beyond arousing. Each stroke awakened a bolder side of her. Her grip tightened, her sucks intensified, and the length she was taking deepened. Dex grabbed the side of his desk for support. All his anger and frustration were replaced with lust.
