A Forever Series Box Set: A Paranormal Reverse Harem-(Book 11-15) - Page 136

“Yes,” I say. “Yes, I want that.”

“Good girl,” he says. “And know that while you are craving me, while you are so desperate for my touch, I will be touching other women, pleasing them as I have pleased you. Will you be jealous, sweetheart?”

“Yes,” I spit out. I feel a murderous rage go up in me at the thought of this stranger with another woman.

“Perfect,” he says with a slow, wicked smile. “You will know that you do not own me, but that I own you. Your body is my now mine and I will come to you when I want to, not when you beg me for my cock inside you, and you will beg, sweetheart, won’t you?”

“Yes,” I whimper. “Please.”

“Say it again,” he whispers.

“Please,” I say urgently.

“You are such an obedient little thing, aren’t you?” he asks me and sucks on my nipple, causing me to buck underneath him in rapture.

“I will always obey you,” I pant.

“I am counting on that, darlin’,” he says as he climbs off me.

“Wait,” I cry out, reaching for him. “Don’t go, not yet.”

“Remember all of this,” he mutters to me and then he vanishes.

I sit up in bed, sweating, confused, and very aroused. The sheet drops from me and I quickly pull it back up, looking around the room, but I am alone and in the Underworld. I shake my head, trying to remember the dream. It seemed so real. I gulp as I recall how Remiel has manipulated my dreams in the past. But this wasn’t Remiel. This was someone I have never met before. Suddenly it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out. Dream weaving is clearly a Dragon trait. I have done it with Cole, even.

“I tried to warn you,” Frederick says softly as he Teleports into the bedroom.

I glare at him and pull the sheet up even higher. “You did nothing of the sort,” I hiss at him, unfairly blaming him. “You came here with cryptic comments, nothing more.”

“I cannot betray him,” Frederick says, sadly.

“I’ve heard that before,” I snarl at him and I actually see him flinch, but only for a second.

“Much like I have heard you say I will never see you naked again,” he replies blandly.

I Astral on a robe and get out of the bed. “You had better tell me what he wants with me or I’ll send you back to him in little pieces,” I threaten him. It’s empty and he knows it. I could no more kill him than I could Constantine.

“I do not have the answer to that, Aefre,” he says. I want him to say my name again. I have missed it, but then I remember myself and glare at him. “All I know is that he is obsessed with you. Says you can give him everything he wants. You must be careful.”

“Too late for that,” I snap at him. “He has violated my dreams. The gods only know what he did to me or asked me to do!”

Frederick peers at me. “You don’t remember?” he asks.

“No,” I answer after a moment. “I know he was here, but I don’t remember anything else.”

Frederick breathes in deeply and closes his eyes briefly. “You are aroused,” he says bluntly. “I would know that sweet scent anywhere.”

bsp; I narrow my eyes at him in longing, but then I shudder. What did Laurentis do to me and what did he make me do to him?

“You had better take your damned Vampire senses and get of the bedroom I share with my husband,” I say with my hands on my hips.

“Be careful, Aefre. He would only have come to you now if he sensed you are vulnerable. Try to remember the dream, and try to fight it,” he says, looking almost miserable before he Teleports out.

Shit! Fuck! This is not what I need right now. If it wasn’t bad enough having Remiel to deal with, now I have his father to deal with too. Well, all of their father, I think to my horror.

It sinks in that I am that girl. The one who takes an entire family of men? The old gods, I am disgusted with myself. I rack my brain as I try to remember what he did and what he said and more importantly what I did and said, but all I know is that he came to me, and that I didn’t want him to leave. This does not bode well for me, or anyone for that matter. If Laurentis is obsessed with me, I need to find out why. What can he gain from me? The way Remiel told it, he isn’t all that powerful, that his power is merely ‘to pass it on’, that is why his sons are my Chosen Ones, not him. It makes no sense what he could possibly want with me.
