Jewell (Biker Bitches 7) - Page 96

Jewell released a hissing breath as she rode him. Raising his knees, he let them fall to the side so he could push up higher. When her breasts trembled, he knew she was finding another climax. This time, he jumped with her, sending them both into an oblivion where only they existed.

Rubbing her back when she collapsed on top of him, he shoved another pillow under his head, trying to come back to earth.

Catching sight of Train, Killyama, Nickel, and Ember, he saw they were in basically the same shape as he was. A sound from the doorway had him turning his head on the pillow to see Razer, Viper, Cash, Shade, Lucky, Rider, and Knox standing in the room.

“Jewell … how many fucking IOUs did you give out?”

Chapter Forty

“Is that all of it?” Rory asked, slamming the trunk down.

“That’s it.” Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, she stared up at the clubhouse, fighting back against the feeling that she wouldn’t ever again see the place where she had spent so many years living.

“You want me to stay here while you go say goodbye to everyone?”

“No, I said my goodbyes yesterday while you were giving your lessons.”

Tugging the hood of her coat up onto her head when a blast of cold air hit her, Jewell made sure the driver’s door was unlocked for the moving company she had hired to transport her car, motorcycle, and the rest of her belongings. She took the key out of her pocket, preparing to leave it inside the factory so Shade would have it tomorrow.

As they walked to Rory’s SUV, Noah, Chance, and Beth came down the side path. Jewell stopped as Rory continued the few steps to the passenger door.

Noah and Chance took off running to grab her around the waist. “We’re going to miss you. Ember won’t make popcorn like you do when she babysits.”

“She will,” Jewell promised her. Placing her arms around the boys, Jewell fought hard not to break down. She had known saying goodbye to the children was going to be hard. “Remember, I told you yesterday that if she doesn’t, all you have to do is video chat me, and I’ll make her.”

Blinking back tears, she saw that Lily was coming down the side path with her three children. Lily moved close enough so Jewell could hold the little girl while Clint and John managed to wiggle between Noah and Chance to hug her.

“Mom said we’ll see you when we visit Aunt Penni, but we don’t visit her at Halloween, and you always take us Trick-or-Treating.” Clint bravely sniffed his tears away, not wanting the other boys to make fun of him.

“Arin enjoyed it so much last year that she promised to come take you all out,” Jewell told him.

“Mom and Dad hide our candy,” John complained.

Lily made no effort to hide her tears.

“Heaven forbid you actually let your parents take you out.” She smiled at Lily, showing she wasn’t upset at her children’s complaints.

Reaching above the children, Lily gave her a hug. “Be happy, Jewell.”

Jewell had to clench her teeth to prevent herself from crying at Lily’s heartfelt wish.

Hearing a low swear from Rory, Jewell handed the baby girl back as Aisha walked down from Viper’s house with Winter. Mother and daughter were already crying.

The group of boys moved away to let Aisha hug her. The young girl’s features showed the blossoming beauty she would one day become.

“I wish you weren’t going. You promised you would show me how to put on makeup when I was old enough.”

“I hate to tell you, sweetie, but your dad was never going to let me,” she teased. Kneeling down, Jewell used the sleeve of her jacket to wipe Aisha’s tears away. “Besides, you won’t need it. You’re pretty enough as it is. Your poor dad won’t be able to handle it if you get any prettier.”

Aisha’s eyes widened. “You think so?”

“Take it from me.” Jewell pulled her close for a hug. “You’re going to be so beautiful that all you’re going to need is a small dab of perfume.” Reaching into her pocket, Jewell took out a tiny bottle of perfume, sneaking it into Aisha’s hand.

“Is that the one you wear?” Aisha whispered.

“Yes. I know how much you like it. I’ll send you some more at Christmas. Just remember that a little goes a long way,” Jewell murmured.

“Every time I wear it, I’ll think of you.”

“You better. That perfume costs a fortune.”

The little girl stepped away, giggling.

Both Winter and Jewell stared at each other, and then they reached out to hug each other.

“I said I wouldn’t cry today, but I can’t help it. You’re the only one who backs me up when Viper is being a jerk.”

“Like that did you any good.” Jewell rolled her eyes at her.

“I know, but it made me feel better,” Winter admitted. “I plan on calling you every day to bitch about him.”
