I met Steven on my way out.

"How is he?" he whispered.

"Like a hungry raccoon," I said. "He'll tear

through anything."

"Huh?"

I laughed as I hurried away.

With the time I had in between my violin lesson

and my next session. I mailed out the letter to Uncle

Simon and then finished cleaning and organizing my

room. While I was doing so. I heard footsteps above

and paused to listen. It was the first time I had heard
