Cave Man (The First Mountain Man) - Page 16

"Are those markings?" Stone asks, pointing behind me.

I turn to where he is pointing. "Etchings of some sort," I say. We climb out of the water to get a better look. "It's a game of tic-tac-toe." I laugh. "Do you think there are other people here?"

"I've never seen anybody," Stone says.

"There has to be though, right?" I ask. "What if we're not the only humans who have traveled back in time?"

Stone runs a hand through his beard. "Then I'd say this place is even crazier than I thought."

I take his hand. He picks up a rock. "You want to play tic-tac-toe?" he asks me.

I shake my head. "No," I say. "I want to play something else."

"What's that?"

"A different kind of game," I say, biting my bottom lip, that kiss lingering in my mind, and I want more of where it came from. Stone seems to understand and he drops the rock in his hand, walking toward me. We lower ourselves back into the water, sitting on the edge of the rocks. He pulls me to him, in our private little cocoon. He's practically naked, and I suppose there is no reason to be wearing any clothes out here.

I untie the sides of my swimsuit bottoms, setting them on the lake's edge.

"May I?" he asks. I nod slowly as he reaches behind me, untying the bikini top and setting it on top of my bottoms. "Fuck. Sky. You're gorgeous."

I lower my eyes, feeling my cheeks redden. "You're just saying that because you haven't seen another–"

Stone presses his finger to my lips. "Don't," he says. "Stop saying that. That I only want you because there is no one else. What if you're the one I've been waiting for my whole fucking life? Could you believe that?"

"I'd like to," I admit. "It's just hard, the idea of being someone's something, when I’ve never been anybody's anything."

"That's a pretty sad thing to hear," he tells me.

"Maybe it's a good thing," I say, "having waited my whole life for a man like you, a caveman."

He chuckles at that. "If I'm a caveman, what does that make you? Is there a modern name for a cavewoman?"

"Maybe a Betty? From The Flintstones?" I say. “She’s the hot one.”

He laughs. “She the one with the blue dress?”

I nod. “Yeah, but even if I was your Betty, I’d want to be something else, more.”

“What’s that?” He growls in my ear.

"I could be your lover, your partner, your pussy."

He grunts at that. "You like to be touched?" he asks me.

I lick my lips. "I've never been touched by a man."

"You're a virgin?" he asks.

I nod. "There were times I almost… but…" I shake my head. "The guys I went out with, they weren't good guys. And I always knew it right before things went too far to stop, knowing they would most certainly break my heart."

"You saved yourself for me?" he says.

"I suppose I did," I tell him. "Is that a bad thing?" I ask. "I know some guys say they never want to sleep with a virgin."

"That has nothing to do with it," Stone tells me. "Where you've been before, who you might've been with," he shakes his head, "what matters is now. But yeah, I like the idea that your pussy has never been touched by someone else. I want to be your first. I want to show you what it's like to be taken by a real man."

My body warms at his words, the heat that comes with them. "I don't know if it's quite fair that I'm naked and you're not," I say as his eyes run over me, taking in my breasts, my waist, the curve of my ass. I feel him drink me in. I want him to do more than drink. I want him to eat until his heart is content.

He unties the cloth around his waist, setting it aside. Standing in front of me, he takes my hand and leads it to his thick shaft. "You're so big," I moan as I begin to stroke him, taking his lead. He begins to massage my breasts, plucking my nipples, his mouth on my neck, sending shivers of pleasure and excitement over me. "Is this okay?" I ask him.

"I like how innocent you are when it comes to this," he says. "Usually you're pretty damn confident."

I smile. "I like the idea of you teaching me," I admit. "Sometimes it's hard, always having to be in control, always having to make sure things are going to work out."

"I got you now," he tells me.

We swim in the water through the waterfall, and Stone points out a lush bank of grasses up ahead. "Let's go over there," he says. "It might be a bit more comfortable."

I laugh, thinking he's probably right. If this is going to be my first time having sex, I think being comfortable is a priority. We step out of the water. I'm in awe once again of where we are, what we are, at the dawn of time.
